Went for Sunday brunch. Beautiful restaurant with great service!!Food was delicious, but go if you want a treat OR if you can make a buffet worth it.And wear something loose around the waist:)

Had a party here last weekend and wow the food was DELICIOUS!! Service was amazing, and really enjoyed our meals. Everyone had a great time and the dessert bar WAS HEAVEN. Really enjoyed every single dessert; presentation, appearance and the taste was there! Would return here and would definitely recommend!

The lunch and breakfast buffet has a nice variety - definitely not the best in Ottawa but it's surprisingly cheaper than other hotel buffets so it's pretty good value. Explore dishes outsides the buffet too these are I think the best there.If the weather's good sit outside it is a beautiful view and sometimes they turn heaters on so it makes for a beautiful atmosphere. Definitely recommend if you live in Ottawa and are looking for a nice weekend breakfast or brunch

AFTER RE-OPENING FROM COVID-19 EXPERIENCE.Excellent service, great food and a terrific atmosphere. They had all of the proper safety measures in place. Waiters wear masks and face shields. Arrows on the floor to properly flow people in and out. Tables spaced apart correctly. You wear a mask into the front door of the hotel and down to the restaurant until you are seated. A great dining experience! Very impressed!

A great place to dine.with excellent food and service.

Lunch here was a treat, and good value for the price. The salad and dessert "bars" are outstanding.

It was absolutely delicious had the New York steak and service was great

well....it took almost 30 minutes after our reservation time to get our table, which turned out to be right next to a terribly cold air vent. Then it took 1hr 15 min to get our main - which ruined our after dinner plans. The food itself was so so - my appetizer the butternut taquidos were fantastic but the main dish the $28 "ramen" was a lump of thick noodles, do not order!!!My partner thought the chicken was ok but the mashed potatoes tasted out of a box. The atmosphere and waiter were good otherwise.

Super nice ambience very good food and service

It appears that this could be a good option for food but unfortunately when you are a Group they give you a set menu with not many options. Really 3 or so options, you can see the menu I pictured in the review. The atmosphere was good and the manager was friendly. Can't say much about the server that seemed to have a chip on his shoulder. I will try this place again without a Group to really taste the options.

Aroma restaurant is not a very good choice for a large group. They offer a preset menu: vegetarian, fish or beef main meal options with either a salad or soup. The only beef option was a 12oz prime rib AAA, the meat was so fatty and lacks in taste. Asked for the salad dressing on the side and to substitute the mashed potatoes with extra vegetables for the main meal. The waiter took note of that, but didn't make the changes when the food arrived. At this price point, the quality of food and experience was definitely not worth it (50$ per person, 80-90$ including 1-2 drinks).

AROME, I have no proper words to describe this Resturant, I was told this restaurant had great food, being someone who travels a lot I thought maybe it’s people over exaggerate, but when I had dinner there I was amazingly shocked how everything was perfect. From staff to food to presentation and service. I am so glad I dinned at AROME ! Thank you for a great experience. I highly recommend it.

The seafood platter was huge and good. The appetizer, beet purée with crackers was an unexpected surprise.

Great place for steake and seafood but a bit on the pricy side. Excellent view of Lac Leamy with a nice patio !

We enjoyed a very nice lunch on Saturday. Everything was great (food, service, atmosphere, reasonable price). The only complaint I have that we waited 30 minutes for a table near window even when the restaurant was empty. After 30 minutes we got a table not at the window but close (many tables were empty). After one hour 9 tables in good location were still empty. Poor management. I recommend to reserve your table ahead of time as you'll not get it even if it's available.

So delicious! Came with a party of 6 and everyone was happy with their meals, most of us got steak but 2 got the homemade ramen noodle vegetarian option and was told this was delicious too! It's a beautiful restaurant, nice white tablecloths. My father is very picky and every time we come here he has raved about how good his steak is. I can't wait to go back and sit out on the patio - it looks so pretty. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star is because we were basically kicked out of our table. I was never told we only had the table for a limited time so I thought this was unprofessional and a little rude. The restaurant was not packed, there were many open tables and no guests were waiting so we all thought this was a little odd. Other than this it's a great restaurant and would definitely recommend!

Went to this restaurant as part of a group. They have a set menu for groups which includes chef decisions on how they cook the meats. Beef was cooked rare with blood on top, salmon was rare at thickest area. When asked to cook a bit more, the chefs/waiters were overheard complaining about clients being picky. They also add automatic gratuities, this way waiters do not have to respond to clients asking for more water, drinks, etc. You have to get up find a waiter or serve yourself if you find their water jugs. Would not recommend this restaurant for any groups. Much better food served elsewhere.

The steak is delicious, especially with the peppercorn sauce. Nice staff and upscale dining decor. Been here a couple of times and never disappointing.

Great salad & dessert bar, well prepared entrees starting at $14. Friendly, competent service. A hidden gem.

We took only buffet breakfast for 2 days in a row at there. Food choices & quality are excellent (esp. smoked salmon is super nice. I couldn't stop eating.). Atmosphere & service are very good too. Price is competitive.

If I was rich if be here every week... The seafood experience is ridiculously sinfully amazing. We also observed the bbq all you can eat and it looked amazing. Wonderful service, beautiful view and special experience.

A little disappointed with this restaurant. Although the food itself is pretty good, the service is absolutely terrible. the staff is not friendly, not accommodating, they waste food and are simply difficult to communicate with. Not what you expect considering the price!

I have been to this place several times and enjoy the hotel and the food. The waiter was friendly, however no one came to check if my food was okay and the bday dessert was served with no cutlery.... I can be okay with all of this, but was very frustrated at the coldness I received from the hostess and coat check lady when I did not speak French. They were only kind with a smile when my guest spoke French. Very rude to me.

Asked for rare and recieved a chewy medium-well. Another person in my party had ordered the exact same rare steak and it came out perfectly. They refused to do anything about it and said that's how it's supposed to be. The place is also way too pricey for a tacky and underwhelming atmosphere.

Love the seafood plat, better than what we had in casino Montreal.

Tasty food, excellent and friendly service. High class so be prepared to part with your wallet, business casual dress code. Enjoy!

Amazing food, try the seafood platter for two!

You pay for what you get and this is a fine dining experience with excellent service. Food was superb and the wine was very tasty. I ordered the seafood platter to split and it could have easily served three people it was so large. I liked that we weren't rushed to finish the meal even if they were getting close to closing time. I'd really like to come back and see what the buffet is like as well as try some of their desserts. Those looked so good but I was way too full to consume anything else.

It was very noisy as we got in! Felt like I needed ear plugs... ☹️...But the food was great ! A shout out to Marc and the chef . From the starters to the desert everything was spot on ! They took special care for my shrimp allergy. My wife loved her tempura shrimp starter and it was +++ perfect. At the end we were impressed with the anniversary greeting on our desert plate. Nice touch Marc ! Keep up the good work !

The continental brunch here is excellent. Yogurt parfait, chia pudding, cream cheese and smoked salmon!

The waiters are sloppy and the food is not worth the cost. The steak was gross and the mashed potatoes were full of butter just the taste was off. They use red flasks to pour water. The calamari had mayo as a dip which seemed cheap. Just the overall restaurant was a joke. I would rather go to Shore Club or another place. What annoyed me the most was the sloppiness of the wait staff. I won't go again.

Not a big fan of dry aged steak but the Tuesday 1/2 wine and champagne bottle special was a pleasant surprise, wine selection is not great. The service did seem a bit slow and the open table set up made it seem a bit noisy.

Excellent brunch experience. The selection is just unbelievable for a brunch buffet. Eggs Benedict was great. Omelettes cooked to order came out perfect as well. Service was excellent as well. Price is a little higher than a regular breakfast spot but you definitely get what you pay for.

Excellent services, delicious salad and desserts bar, most comfortable environment and beautiful view! You have to be there to understand why I have such a high compliment for this place.

Sunday brunch is fantastic! Beautiful views with amazing service. Make sure you make a reservation for the brunch. There are 2 time slots for brunch, one at 11:30AM and another at 1:30PM. The place fills up but it doesn't feel crowded. The staff were super attentive and polite. The selection is nice and the quality of the food is excellent.

Great selection of speciality dishes such as seafood and steak. Very classy and elegant. Nice romantic feel with views of the lake. Great customer service as well. The seafood plate was amazing along with the Filet Mignon.

Very disappointed. Had "chefs choice grill" was veal shank. Only 3 bites of dry meat and some mushy spinach. Only people in our party that were satisfied we the pair that had a beef and seafood platter for 2.

Excelling restaurant with great service. The food is made fresh daily. The buffet has healthy choices of salad bar, soups & aBig selection of delicious desert. Last but not least the view of the pool & lake is breathtaking.

Nice fancy food..great quality served hot. The service was amazing and friendly. The place elegant and the price are really worth it.
